Just buy a 7 seater and fold the last 2 seats down. Gives you the room you need in most cases. Also gives you the extra seats when needed. The key is to get 3 seats in the middle row so that 1 of the parents can stay with the kids. If you have pilot seats in the 2nd row and you have small kids, you are screwed!!

1. Model 3 2. Yes 3. I didn't have a car until I had kids, in SF and even in LA. Model 3 is good enough for two kids.

This is an interesting question. 1. 2002 Ford Explorer or 2016 Nissan Altima 2. Stepdaughter - 14 3. It probably wouldn't. Cars are such a waste of money to my mind that I don't ever think about them too much. If it gets us from point A to point B, I would much rather put the same money into something that appreciates in value or at least presents an opportunity. You won't catch me paying some insane car payment for an asset that's losing value by the minute.

1. 2015 Subaru Outback 2. Yep, 2 3. No complaints, Subaru is solid. If I could get anything night upgrade to the Ascent since it has a third row but for two kids the Outback is perfect.
