question to men with more roots planted than i do

1. what car do you drive?
2. do you have kids?
3. how would answer to 1) change if status on 2) was different?

This is an interesting question. 

1. 2002 Ford Explorer or 2016 Nissan Altima
2. Stepdaughter - 14
3. It probably wouldn't. Cars are such a waste of money to my mind that I don't ever think about them too much. If it gets us from point A to point B, I would much rather put the same money into something that appreciates in value or at least presents an opportunity. 

You won't catch me paying some insane car payment for an asset that's losing value by the minute.
