Do you have any opinions or advice on an intellectual on-ramp to programming against IPFS. I've developed my own generic [sys.fs] filesystem abstraction that I layer over targets like the browser (IndexedDB) and the server (eg node-js et al). I would like to do this with IPFS but have not got around to it yet.

i'm with you, but its very convenient to hide secrets on a backend and serve data from etherscan/alchemy to the client via a rate limited api, all from inside 1 repo

> "switch back to spa" Yes to this! Related, I'm suspicious of the recent trend to move back to server routes, aka. "React Server Components" When I think about "why?" (ignoring the stated technical rationale, which IMO seems dubious) is it plays into a "charges for server" business model. Regression. Am I crazy?

Hey, maybe you can help me with a friendly debate Iโve been having with my lead dev, who is extremely talented but still skeptical of many Web3 things, IPFS included. He says: IPFS is very cool tech, but one layer down it still all runs on centralized stuff like AWS. How do I reply? Thank you in advance.

How do you use blockchain as a backend ? Most of the time you'll need APIs that index blockchain data that come with API keys you'll want to hide (put on server side). Am I missing something ?
