Check out this Frame for charitable donations our awesome dev @utility (who we hired off WarpCast) built! @dwr.eth weren’t you asking if a frame for donations existed?

“Doing the work” of Web3 onboarding by giving a lecture on blockchain to a crowd of 11 senior citizens at the Dyersville Iowa public library. Tough crowd- but fair.

James Magee is one of my Regen heroes, finding ways to deploy web3 tech to create on-chain records of regenerative action, which can reward the user, by collaborating with other projects, which are beautiful pieces of art as well! @prosocialise @tito.eth @carbonnetzero I feel like you would get along well with Mr Magee here.

I am pleased to announce that our submission to the HackReFi COP28 hackathon was selected as a finalist. GiveCredit allows users to retire carbon/eco-credits with tax-deductible donations. https://x.com/hackrefi/status/1727052251729141820?s=46&t=t77HH8QaVkBAy6qQbZRqWw

I’m sorry if this sounds harsh, but what’s the point of building all this transformative cutting edge technology if we’re not using it to make the world a better place? So many Web3 nerds are just playing with cool toys in their money bubble while the world burns down around them.

There are a lot of ways to use NFTs to generate impact, here are a few we are working with our nonprofit partners on: A) represent land (and show how it evolves over time, eg reforestation/gardens) B) tokenize art objects C) proof of life/proof of biodiversity D) access to real world services: eg hotel discounts

Sneak preview of something we’re working on for a hackathon, paper escrow vouchers. so the 2 billion people without smartphones can use digital currencies (central bank-issued or otherwise).

Geez, running a start-up is complicated. It seems like every day I find something new to learn- which is exciting, but it also means I have found a new thing to be really bad at, in the most public and high-pressure setting possible. It’s fun though! Like a big hyper dimensional logic puzzle.

Can’t believe it took me 33 years to realize the Holy Spirit represents the (censored, suppressed) Divine Feminine in the patriarchal, hierarchical church’s version of the Holy Trinity.

Somewhat humorously, one of the projects is located in an area with, let’s just say, some neighbors who have very good reason to be suspicious of gringos bearing camera networks. Maybe we should be careful about how the tech we are deploying “for a better world” will be perceived by our local neighbors first?

Why don’t I hear more people talking about how IoT sensors (for eco-credit dMRV or other purposes) can (and therefore will) be used for surveillance? I’m working with projects talking about deploying mass amounts of cameras and microphones in the jungle and I’m like…maybe we should think about this a sec…

Open offer to anyone who reads this: PM me and I will send you narcan/naloxone, or connect you with a local harm reduction organization who can give it to you for free. Or, go here: https://nextdistro.org/

Running a web3/crypto project from far outside the coastal Patagonia vest/VC tech world bubble is fun. Like a big logic puzzle. It reminds me a lot of the first day after landing in a new country. So many new customs and codes to learn. How do I hold my chopsticks? What’s the right way to cross the street?
