Hey, maybe you can help me with a friendly debate I’ve been having with my lead dev, who is extremely talented but still skeptical of many Web3 things, IPFS included. 

He says: IPFS is very cool tech, but one layer down it still all runs on centralized stuff like AWS. How do I reply? Thank you in advance.

Arweave is cool too! We used that for our charitable NFT marketplace concept. I think IPFS edges it out though.

but jokes aside, there is ipfs, arweave, filecoin, etc

obviously files are held on servers — just like with and dht-based solution

the trick is that if one node goes down, the popular content still persists
