so far the only trully popular use case for frames has been recast and airdrop

second most popular is paragraph sub frame

not sure if this is ideal, i.e. similar vibes to $degen

it is fun (and this is what matters) but is it good long term?

Long term I think frames will be good distribution for products that can stand on their own without frames.

frames in their simplicity are akin to bots on tg in 2016 which allows apps within apps and which make warpcast a super app

there is a ton of potential and the initial craze around frames is promising

excited to see what devs can do with text fields and excited to see new features like onchain txs

the paragraph one is by far the most useful and my favorite

the first recast and airdrop that got the most recasts ever still holds special place in my heart because i consider such things art

imo polls should be protocol-level, not centralized in frames but that's just that my opinion

subscriptions, rsvps, signatures, polls will be the low hanging practical frames. 

Then from there I think the ecommerce, follow-to-use, cross-share, etc. will be interesting. lots of cool usecases outside of short form posts, like articles or stories that could be cool.

the author did everything they could within the current frames implementation, so no questions there

the team did everything we could wish for for the frames mvp so no questions here either

excited for new capabilities

but cookies didn't cut it imo

I think the @cookie frame is very compelling as well

i've seen cringe or based with farcaster users and i'm so disappointed it didn't take off

too early to judge. let the chaos dissipate, signal will start glowing soo
