Do you think channels should be renamed? I feel that we still struggle to get in terms with the new model and a big reason is "channel" points to some kind of broadcasting. Would it make more sense if we renamed them to "corners"?

I think the naming doesn't matter much. Whether it's a "massive broadcast" type of channel or a "cozy corner" type of channel is up to a user to decide, as one develops an emotional bond to one or another. i.e. I treat /fc-devs as farcaster's stack overflow /dalechyn as my notes app /powerlifting as cozy gym corner technically speaking though, channel can be thought of as a communication mediator (a.k.a portal to this section of people), so it kinda fits to me. not sure if a better term exists for this.

I 100% think they should be renamed. The concept completely changed. They should be called "Groups" or "Clubs" or something.

It's still broadcasting isn't it? Isn't the only thing governed here who gets to start a top level cast? I think its too soon to rename as we don't know where merklem is heading w these yet but do think they should be renames. I'd image we see a lot more owner as the only caster behavior as well as the need for sub 'channels' as we move forward. FIP-2 anyone? How would an aspiring entrepreneur refer to these? Circle is kinda good, so it could be called Farcaster/Warpcast Circle x/y/etc
