If you find yourself writing a bullet point list and passing it to GPT to make a "proper" article, it's often better to just give people the bullet points. The GPT adds "wordcel noise" that the reader has to struggle to extract useful info from more than it adds useful context. (As usual, any AI-related advice has a life expectancy of ~6 months)

wordcel implies a degree of persuasive skill though? That was the whole debate right? Evil wordcel people tricking innocent shape rotators into ceding control over important things to them? LLMs definitely add words, but feels inaccurate to categorize them as wordcel

good advice, also I think in such cases the words have visual shape, proseslop is very encyclopedic and flat. longwinded serialization has a respective medium (e.g. Joyce, magical realism, etc)

* Eschew the superfluous verbosity of algorithmically-generated prose in favor of unadulterated schematic notation * Linguistic models inevitably interject vacuous semantic ornamentation into otherwise substantive discourse * The prolix nature of synthetic textual production imposes undue hermeneutic labor upon the consumer * The signal-to-noise ratio becomes irredeemably skewed toward cacophonous redundancy * Prognostications regarding computational linguistics manifest a temporal half-life approximating 180 diurnal cycles * These very axioms shall inevitably succumb to epistemological entropy under similar chronometric constraints

one day only a small group of people will choose their own words..(and gonna be rejected as ludite) that's sad.. critical thinking and analyse were living bad times, this will be the last stab in the hearth.. and, with current state, AI is not even better than humans.. just faster what AI does good is the opposite.. extract relevant points from a big text (a good prompt can help too, just ask the AI to speak directly without that extra noise) you can even ask the AI to write like you (I am sure all your blog posts are part of the trainning data) (did the experiment yesterday, link below)

I mostly do this to make it consumable and "officious" enough for the orgs I work with. I'm going to just start doing PRDs as listicles and see if it's accepted.

People will take the "normal article" and input it into GPT to get the bullet points that you started with. 😂

yup, I actually do the opposite, give a long text to get the bullet points. Just straight up useful info without the noise
