Will drop some stuff tomorrow… What would you like to learn more about? I was thinking about making a tier list and explaining my choices by showing and explaining micro and macro nutrients

for example, if you mention micro nutrients, i don’t know what to think about Calcium. it s good but can have side effects if taken too much? another idea would be, what is the most important meal of the day? how to adapt your diet for your goals such that you don’t feel like dieting.

Make dieting fun is what worked best for me. try different snacks/ variations using less or more calories depending on what your goal is. Also remember that dieting is best done with slow gradual changes, drastic changes are often less good.

Most important meal of the day is personal, what your goals are (gaining/losing/maintaining) Some studies suggest having a good breakfast is the most important. Just don’t eat before going to bed is my advice and again, listen to your body.

If you don’t want your bloodwork taken I’d suggest either more calcium rich foods or supplementing calcium for a couple of weeks and see what changes. Or try eating less calcium rich foods and see what happens. You know your body best so try stuff out and see how your body reacts.

Calcium is needed for building and protecting bones and teeth. It helps with muscle contraction and relaxation. Also helps with hormone secretion, blood clots and maintaining blood pressure. It’s an important mineral for athletes. To be sure if you lack or have too much you can have bloodwork done.

If you eat either Salmon, Dairy products, kale or tofu on the regular you most likely wouldn’t need to supplement calcium, if you don’t eat these you might lack calcium. It’s very good for you but shouldn’t be consumed too much indeed(several bad side effects like nausea, loss of appetite and tiredness)
