Absolutely insane levels of delusion. The problem with the fires is apparently climate change and landlords hiking rent.

I'm not taking that as him saying the landlords hiking rents were the cause. It sounds like he's saying he's working to ensure there isn't price gouging on necessities. That's a good thing.

Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't this just saying they don't want people to be gouged for necessities in the aftermath, and also get more resources to prevent things like this happening in the future?

Do you not believe that climate change is an important contributing factor to these wildfires? Curious to hear your opinion on this as I would assume that it is but can’t say that I know much about these wildfires and their root cause.

I saw another post blaming openAI for the fires because their data centres use a lot of water

Pretty obvious that's not what it's saying. But also, climate change absolutely contributes to the intensity of these fires. The delusion is coming from inside the cast.

I think there have been fires there since prehistory, like the native plants are evolved to withstand them. But what made the fires devastating wasn't a rise in ambient temperatures or pollution, its deforestation and house building. So like, don't think you can "fix" it without depopulation?
