Gotta admit it sounds true Though I’ve noticed that coffee really does affect different people quite differently (may have something to do with how your body metabolizes it, which is quite different in different populations)

I think that's true -- I'm really sensitive to caffeine, so I feel it in my body as muscular tension But I suspect that's also because I've become very aware of how substances make me feel. I bet there's a lot of desensitization misunderstood as tolerance or faster metabolism

I feel like it’s changed a lot for me as I’ve gotten older too, when i was in my early 20s 3 cups a day was nothing, now drinking coffee after noon kills me

have you ever taken the genetic test to see how you metabolize it? i have a fast caffeine metabolism. there is also a gene for caffeine anxiety.
