serious question that i know will come across as facetious but i am asking it as seriously as possible like gun to your head: how would you quantify "vibes"

I recently had a Zoom call with a client, and her energy just hit me like a wave from the very first second. It was such a cool feeling that I had to turn down the volume!

Hmm “quantify”vibes, not “describe”, right? I suppose by whether it’s an individual feeling or zeitgeist. Is it one-to-one, many-to-one, many-to-many, etc. Or am I taking too literally?!

flow nothing but you, the idea, and what you make of it. not only are there minimal obstructions to an envisioned result — no tools to learn, skills to acquire, etc. — but the tools (supposedly) accelerate your progress and anticipate your decisions/desires.

i imagine vibes = amount of engagement / effort if you get a ton of engagement without much effort, the vibes are good.

I’m not sure there’s a way because I think, by nature, vibes are qualitative. But I do think there could be a way to define and describe vibes more comprehensively and use that to map their relationship to other vibes. You could also probably quantify the second-order effects of vibes, even if not the vibes directly. For example, tracing someone’s cultural impact, though the strengh of their vibes can’t actually be directly measured
