ok thought experiment, time to be brutally honest: out of time spent on social, i spent 95% “creating” on farcaster platforms and 5% on tiktok/twitter combined. let’s say i shift that allocation to 50 / 50 or even 25 / 75. what do you think that’d look like? should i try it? is it better for me?

Lots of factors - You have a large following here relative to other platforms and we’re early so any gain now could be exponential later. But you risk time wasted where you could achieve short term success elsewhere with a shift in time invested. Try 25/75 and see what happens

would be curious to see how your "consuming" time changes as well reading the comments & monitoring the culture seems like a necessary activity if you're going to be creating more often same reason you can't just show up from Twitter to FC and expect to post the same way

With channels having the potential to be independent from FC, your time spent here will pay off in the future with no limits. However FC has much less audience atm so 50/50 for now will give you more reach so try it imo.

Why not do a @bored approach and give yourself a given period of time to focus on TikTok - say 50/50 for 2 months and see how it makes you feel and how fast you’re reaching your target. Also new video first client here and cross posting with Drakula continue to be options. Just do all your TikTok’s with Farcaster branded merch on to showcase the arches. I have basically zero exp with TikTok so take my thoughts with a grain of salt.

I think if your content was mostly focused on crypto, I’d probably stay the course in FC platforms, but I think your content would do well with the wider audience TikTok and X provides.

As an experiment, it might be a good thing to try. I'm curious to know about your social activity before Farcaster. If you weren’t active than the question is why? Maybe the reason is still there

better distribution into a larger TAM the strength of the community you build is a safety net for the inherent web2 risks (deplatforming, cold-starting across networks, etc)

Alright, first we need to figure out what made you lose interest. What expectations did you have that weren't met? Then we can see what your priorities are for those overall

I definitely don’t think it’s better, unless you think the pace of content creation is burning you out. Twitter is a mess anyway. 😆

If you're going for a wider audience and more reach, it makes sense to focus more on the other platforms. There's just not enough non-crypto content here for it to be a main focus.

i think it depends on your case there, if you are from the one who have a lot of followers there and get a good interaction it worth it. Still i prefer being early here! on another side you will be missed here if you spent more time there

1. Looks like? creating highly engaging content intersecting tech and normies. (More of what you already do but audience changes) 2. Yes. 3. I think so, if you’re trying to bring more people into this side of the world. (3 is kinda based on some of my own findings/ current focus) You’ll do amazing things either way!

Fc & Twitter seem like mutually exclusive audience at this point. Very few crossovers. For me, as an art collector, X is critical for discovery and broad art related happenings, news etc. Where is your audience and what’re your goals?

I think youll do well in non FC land, it makes sense to me imo. I started exploring other options as well. One thing I did notice in this exploration is even though my following is small here I do get the same level of engagement from other platforms. Either way I think it makes sense for you
