gotta be the lion otherwise three of them are gonna have a bad time

wherever we're going the cow will slow us down. 

Lion will keep us safe
Horse can be ridden
Monkey can climb up
Rabbit can squeeze into small spaces

Cow can... well it has 5 stomachs which is pretty impresssive

Monkey.

Lions when well fed can be tame, a monkey will rip your face off for fun.

Definitely the lion — because he’s just going to eat the other ones & I’m not a lion tamer. The rest will get along together fine (although that monkey could be a handful depending on type).

Horse. 

The others deserve more adventure time.

Rabbit. But seems like I’d run out of luck quickly.
