what's one normal life thing that would improve if it was onchain, and why? I'll start: library (book) cards - public record of who checked out what book, condition they returned it in, list of books I've checked out, can see what other people are reading, transparent checkout queue. wdyt?

strong disagree on this one, reading should be private by default, revealed only if the reader desires to https://www.ala.org/advocacy/intfreedom/librarybill/interpretations/privacy

Good note. I had no idea this was a thing until I went to my local library and asked to see which books Iβve checked out that year so I could put them into Goodreads. She got borderline upset with me for even asking, she felt so strongly about the privacy of that information.
