Hmm… gets me thinking 🤔 maybe everyone has their preferred way of inviting shower thoughts diffuse attention as opposed to focused attention (where we necessarily spend much of our waking time) I think of it as my mind is a dog & I’m letting it off its lead alt q: what makes you daydream? 💭

When my former boss renovated his kitchen he refused to put a dishwasher in it. He and his wife enjoyed doing the dishes for the conversation they had while doing it (both academics). I, on the other hand, trying very hard to outsource this task to my kids. So far no-one likes it
