I hope I can learn like 5 languages before I die. At least 2 more very well. The joy of learning a new language is literally unlocking a part of the world you wouldn’t have otherwise. It’s so much easier to make new friends. Talk to uber drivers, waiters. Unlocks memes. Unlocks new movies and shows.

It honestly gets easier the more you learn, you start to develop a meta intuition for grammar and words in a way I don't think there's quite words for (ironic, I guess)

i agree. what other language do you speak i’ve been learning spanish the past month but not been consistent. i use an app called language transfer & it’s probably been the best language teacher to me!

I can only speak 2 languages as well, but our language, Tagalog has a lot of similarities with Spanish, so I hope I can learn that soon.
