I had a lot of opportunities to drive on weekends… My daughter and I both want to lose some weight, but it won't last. So we set small goals. If it becomes a routine, I'll add another small goal next month. This month's goals are squats and gut health!!

When my children were young, I never saw the end of parenting. Now that my children are adolescents, it is very difficult and I sometimes have a hard time emotionally. But what is different from before is that I am nearing the end of my child-rearing career. I will be celebrating my birthday at the end of this month. For better or worse, it's time to think about what I want to do and how I want to be when the kids are grown and I have time for myself.

As I was heading to school with my daughter, I saw a friend of hers with whom she had an awkward relationship. They wanted to talk to each other, but because of this one incident, they were too awkward to talk. I said to my daughter, "Your friend is walking alone right now, why don't you talk to her? My daughter said she couldn't, but she was in the mood to talk to her friend, so she and I waited at the school gate first and I talked to her friend. Then the girls went to class together!! Sometimes meddling is necessary🤣
