The joy of learning a new language is literally unlocking a part of the world you wouldn’t have otherwise. It’s so much easier to make new friends. Talk to uber drivers, waiters. Unlocks memes. Unlocks new movies and shows.

It honestly gets easier the more you learn, you start to develop a meta intuition for grammar and words in a way I don't think there's quite words for (ironic, I guess)

It gets crazier with other languages! In Hebrew for example, even the verbs have gender, and sometimes it gets complicated.

Oh for sure. Something different in Spanish is masculine/feminine nouns. On TikTok they make jokes about “how do you know a (insert piece of furniture) is feminine?” You just know.
