excited to be back at it but after a year of working on proxy studio, proxyswap, clanker & a couple years prior contributing to projects in in crypto... I have to say I think its for sure not good that crypto takes zero days off, it should be much more normal for people to take some days off around christmas & new years (the holidays!) weekends, or the summer. should be possible without any panic, so many people putting random invites on calendars, emailing, dming. I don't mind taking the calls, answering dms, or emails, but come on lol also always makes me feel apart from the world around me, more aware of how niche brypto is, like my career choice is this wild exception to the norm. which is sort of why I love it, too - I'm a grinder, dw I love the game more than I'm annoyed by this. but I think people could be a bit more normal on special occasions

agreed - this problem is exacerbated by the fact the international nature of crypto (aka not everyone celebrates the same Western holiday schedule, much less hours). it's truly 24-7-365. lots of opportunities, but requires discipline to stay sane also – apologies if I've contributed in any way ;)

100% I had to carve out time or else I’d go nuts. Even then I was still pretty plugged in so I could hit the ground running with the newsletter on the weekly cadence. Take of yourself!

Sometimes users forget that there are real people with real lives behind these projects and protocols. You all deserve a break too!

Totally agree. It’s time to make crypto a healthy place to be a part of and set boundaries. Look how the stock market is run, it’s much more chilled. We need to find somewhere in between what web3 is now and the stock market. Just my opinion. Ps. Crypto has aged me so much, I wake more time in the night than a new born baby πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

It's why CS teams exist. Creates a buffer. Maybe not possible in the early term or in short lived projects, but needed for sanity in B2C crypto.

Completely hear you on this. Crypto moves at warp speed, and the grind is part of the draw but taking moments to breathe shouldn’t feel like a luxury. It’s wild how the space operates so detached from the rhythm of the rest of the world if need be.
