Hi Blue! Ya know, you can actually put the cumin seeds in a coffee grinder and you'll get cumin powder. The seeds are a nice flavor for lots of dishes like potatoes, rice, vegetables, beans, etc. You splutter them in oil to bring out the flavor before doing your sautee of onions, garlic, etc. Hope that helps 😊

What kind of dishes do you use Cumin seeds in? My husband accidentally bought some instead of the ground Cumin we needed for a recipe once and I haven't figured out what to do with them!

Lol! That's definitely a different flavor than cinnamon 😂. Have you tried almond extract in your coffee? I tried it once and it was a game changer.

We have a running joke about the day I grabbed cumin from the spice shelf, and tipped it in my coffee.

(I usually add cinnamon to my coffee, and use less sugar… but definitely a different flavor.)
