I’ve adjusted my lifestyle since this research. Change feels like big investments but these things last a lifetime with net positive for your health. - read the label of all clothes for 100% organic bio available fabrics (no blends with plastics like polyester) like cotton, denim, wool, or linen. check out Pact or Everlane - replaced plastic tupperware, cutting boards, and bowls to glass or stainless steel. Publicgoods.com is great for affordable eco home goods. - changed the Brita filters to Brita Elite or Clearly Filtered bottles vs Stanley. Ideally, glass pitchers.

💯 phasing out plastic isn’t as hard as it may seem. It’s definitely unavoidable sometimes but it’s still beneficial to change where we can. I love Pact. Such comfy clothes.

wow, wish i'd never seen this lmao. i knew microplastics were omnipresent, but i didn't know it was THIS bad. i'm already pretty conscious about not using plastic in the kitchen (i remember already thinking it was weird when i was a kid that we use plastic cutting boards that literally get scraped up plastic from knives), but damn. do we know anything about any actual effects it might have on us long-term? i guess it's too early to say. thx for sharing and good luck on your journey. 444 $degen

How about replacing stainless steel with copper? Copper significantly inhibits or kills bacteria AFAIK.
