sometimes they are saying they love you the only way they know how. my relationship with my parents is rather difficult at times. but i have to remember that they don’t speak my language, and even the little things they do that might annoy me are sometimes an act of love — the only way they know how to express it.

i can’t tonight, i’m working on my to-do list - make some paintings - finish my 3d collection and send her out into the world - sell some art - decide what kind of art i like making most - push through the friction of feeling like i’m not good enough and emerge with the opposite belief - take my dog for walks - study sound healing - go to the sauna - get the equipment to make music - learn how to make music with said equipment - record all the songs i wrote in my notes app - go to the mountains and scream - do some meditation or something - apprentice with a silversmith - make jewelry using some semi obsolete techniques - feed some birds - read more books it seems doable
