michael wombacher’s books/ videos will get you sorted. he is the best of the best. and don’t listen to anyone who says neutering a dog has any behavioral impact. it’s a strictly mercenary social custom.

I know every dog I’ve met that’s been clicker trained seems to only be trained when a clicker is present and being clicked I’ve trained every dog of mine by being consistent. Actually consistent. Sometimes = all the time for a dog

Treated this as a bible when I trained our Labrador (I was 12.) She was a great dog. https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Idiots-Guide-Raising-Puppy/dp/1582450404

The majority of training is accomplished during walks and around food. Emphasise hierarchy (not “being alpha”, but calm and consistent leadership so the dog knows who is in charge). Figure out what motivates your dog (food, praise/attention, playtime or a specific toy) and use it when training.

Best thing I did was focus on one specific training regiment. It help avoid the conflicting “advice” that was coming in from everywhere. That said, I used Brandon McMillan’s dog training course on Masterclass. Helped a ton!
