I've been digging back into new web3 products recently and spent last night looking at a new defi protocol, https://x.com/bunni_xyz. Here's what I learned, why it's worth talking about, and what the rise of tools like this can tell us about how web3 is changing...

Bullish on using cursor to throw together little convenience apps, for instance here's a tiny raycast extension I put together that adds arrow glyphs into my clipboard, eg: ↑↓←→⇄ full code w/ how to install it here: https://github.com/mvwi/glyphs

I would love to see this be a new web3 entrant but realistically I give 50:50 odds that paypal just does this they already have the reach, incentives, and tech, just need the laws to relax enough that they aren't taking undue risk in letting their team run with it

I'm bullish on crypto because my bank told me it would take $4k and 45-60 days to open a HELOC Taking out a 6-figure loan on Aave took me 20mins and $50 in gas No amount of hand wringing can take away that utility

web3 is the world's weirdest economics lab where else do you have - billions of independent actors - no societal guardrails (trust, rationality, legal recourse, etc.) - massive incentives to exploit each other and despite it all, it just... works?

It's been a while, so let me (re)introduce our secret networking cabal for web3 events — discover founders, executives & investors from leading protocols, VCs, and DAOs, all in one place. We'll help you maximize the value of every conference you attend. Connect with decision-makers, strengthen your existing network, and build relationships that matter. We're building a unique social graph built on the most comprehensive side event list in web3.

Politics aside, I would love to see AI rewind the founding father portraits back to the ages they were when they signed the Declaration of Independence Yeah, the DOGE crew are young, but occasionally young people do big things...
