I use GifSki on mac, super simple, allows you to change change dimensions, frames and quality while giving estimate of file size

Highly recommend gif gun ( paid plugin for after effects ) to output gifs from movie files. There are a bunch of things you can configure and do in one go, such as resize, target filesize, frame rate etc.

You could try ffmpeg But at 230mb @gorillasun ‘s option seems more viable 😀

I used ImagOptim on Mac (open source I think). Reducing to 90% quality decreased the size a lot with no loss of quality I could detect from examining it very closely. Depends how small you need. Can TD output video? Might have a better time TD->mp4->GIF->ImageOptim.

If you use command line then download ffmpeg. It's great for converting between all of the formats, sizes, etc ✨️

Maybe gifsicle can help here. It's pretty good at compression, and I think you can used a reduced amt of colours for this (given the palette): gifsicle -l0 -k8 --lossy -O3 inputfile.gif > outputfile.gif The '8' in -k8 tells the amount of colours, you can tweak quality vs size.

That’s a tall order! What are the current pixel dimensions? Number of frames? It’ll probably take some resizing and possibly frame reduction to get even close to 10. I’d be really afraid of losing those fine details. I was sent this link yesterday, and had some luck. Hope this helps https://ezgif.com/optimize
