Wave 7 was created for the the "Hello, Brooklyn" // Techspressionism 2024 Exhibition, taking place at the Kingsborough Art Museum from August 7 through September 25, 2024, curated by @tommym, Giovanna Sun, Seungjin Lee, and Oceana Andries. An opening reception will be held on Friday, August 9th, 2024 from 5 - 7 PM ET, in which artists from the exhibition will be present. π

Waves is an exploration into waves of various forms, such as those found in visible and invisible light spectrums, and those occurring in aquatic spaces. The series explores concepts of gradients, dimensionality, amalgamations, transparency, space and time, feedback loops, multiverses, minimalism, deconstruction and reconstruction, and dream states. π 0 reply

Wave 0 - Artcrush x /curation Belgium billboard takeover
Everything in this photo, tthe people, systems & processes, movement, cameras, commerce, branding, that one plant, the trash, steel & tiling, light, instructions & information, clothing, what can't be captured by the lens, the thoughts, feelings, so on. Of course, look at the eight zaza Waves, taking over the space, creating a rhythmic pulse, emanating from the Web3 world that we have built over these last few years, from the screen, outwards, beyond.
Wave 0 was selected from the /curation open call, curated by Arthemort for the Artcrush billboard event in Belgium. The artwork was exhibited on a thousand billboards in hundreds of cities several millions of times during July 2024.
Web3 is not confined to a computer or smartphone. It goes outwards, inwards, all directions, new spaces, beyond what was. Understand the movement, energy. Send your Waves forward, inwards & outwards. π

3. Allow glb/gltf, zip for web based work, pdf, txt, mp3, all file formats
4. Explore page to view all works on platform in descending time order (price, # of mints, offer, etc) so collectors/curators can see all works
5. Increase time to mint. 1 week default, artist allowed to increase/decrease, remove addictive based mechanisms
6. Wider browsing on desktop, as browser width increases, more works are seen
7. Remove forced 1:1 format and show entire work in landscape/portrait format as artist intends
8. How do Web3 ideas like generative, ai, spatial web fit in here? How to connect to physical?
