ENS names are going through an interesting phase. Original vision was one name everywhere, but L1 got too expensive so people have offchain ENS (farcaster) and L2 ENS (base names, world names). The natural progression seems to be towards multiple ENS namespaces - is this a net good thing?

Will take this opportunity to re-introduce myself. First, a big thanks to @christin for getting me on here. Really enjoyed it so far. I've spent the better part of the last 8 years doing Web3 comms and consulting. As an extension of that, I've been focusing my time on @carboncopy-refi, an information hub for the ReFi space (the part of Web3 trying to finance the regeneration of the planet). In my spare time, I write fiction. I've published two travel thriller novels featuring a shadowy industrial espionage firm called Furtive Khan and one of its intrepid agents Intikam Cobanoglu. Channel update: public mode is now live - Public mode allows non-members to cast in the channel - Member casts always appear in the channel feed; non-member casts will sometimes appear in the channel feed - You can always make someone a member of your channel to guarantee they appear in the main feed - Channel owners have the option to turn on / off public mode /farcaster and /warpcast are now in public mode

So, I'm getting my first boost (are there more than one though?) Gonna use the chance to introduce myself a bit. At the moment, I am a freelance translator, mainly doing subtitles for movies and series. In the last 6 years I've translated over 6000 various assets, and this feels like one of the best jobs in the world. I also co-own a little fast-food joint in Kaliningrad, Russia. In the past, I was a purchasing/category manager in sportswear (Reebok), Liquors and Tobacco (Heinemann Duty free), and e-commerce (Inditex). I also enjoy being a father of two wonderful girls, 5 and 10 yo. And, naturally, I have a certain interest in crypto and web3, otherwise I just wouldn't cast this here on FC.

Delighted that I can flex this now - @gnosispay OG #1325 > poor experiences with other payment services: lost card and unable to get replacement, poor customer service, not true self custody > used a payments off ramp -> mastercard which didn't work with a majority of payment terminals & was temperamental > joined gnosis pay waitlist for ~12 months waiting for platform to be ready > card got shipped to UK, waited ~2 months until could pick it up now...every time i need to pay for something, i am using funds in a wallet i have full custody over, using Visa which is widely accepted, and slowly earning $GNO in cashback 💪
