Who has made bread before? Is it worth trying or is it a huge lift to perfect? Advice is welcome.

I made bread weekly! Started a few years ago. I started with yeasted bread before I got into sourdough and still make certain yeasted loaves. It's truly not very difficult just can be time consuming. I enjoy doing it but also think it's more than worth it because it's only a few ingredients and you can buy good quality ingredients. I'll actually be sharing the sourdough recipe I used for my latest loaf later today!

100% worth trying!! I bought my sourdough starter off Etsy and it’s really easy to maintain. I make loafs weekly. Highly recommend sourdough. You can buy a kit on Amazon but you don’t really need any “special supplies”

It depends on your skills and expectations. There are super simple ways to make bread with yeast, my grandma did her like that for years. And there are more complex ways to create your own sourdough bread from scratch- I practiced that for months during pandemic with varying degrees of success. Luckily I had amazing locally sourced flour than. So again, it really depends on what you want to do.
