Here I am going down the Hegel's dialectic rabbit hole and seemingly just getting more confused. (or maybe that is the point) Can anyone recommend some good secondary literature/videos/ explanations for it? š

Hegel is notoriously difficult to understand, especially without familiarity of both German philosophy at the time (specifically Kantian metaphysics) and philosophy in general (especially Aristotle)

recommend these two lectures: https://youtu.be/0F8REGux8qs?si=w1g05rJisIj9urs_ https://youtu.be/_xbZzxet9Cs?si=1uhcMJbgLzHSYvzP Also, specifically Hegel's dialectic, was nicely explained on "Philosophize this!" podcast in the recent series on Zizek, in 2nd or 3rd episode. There are also a few episodes solely on Hegel.

Not a direct description of the dialectical method, but I highly recommend The Routledge Guidebook to Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit https://www.routledge.com/The-Routledge-Guidebook-to-Hegels-Phenomenology-of-Spirit/Stern/p/book/9780415664462

I have a cd series that covers existentialism. I think Hegel is covered on it. Interested?
