@jayme told me to post this 😛 when you start a company there’s this pressure to be the middle midwit which is a distraction from your calling When I was working on a consumer product, I increased our dau 100% WoW for 8 weeks in a row, which led to us getting into YC. But it didn’t feel right because it wasn’t my calling.

One time, I heard about someone who had gone grocery shopping and came back home only to realize they’d forgotten the most important item on their list—milk.
