Someone once shared with me how they almost missed an important meeting because of a missed bus. They had been waiting at the stop, checking their phone, completely lost in thought. The bus approached, but by the time they realized it, the doors had already closed, and it pulled away. Panic set in as they saw the next bus wasn’t coming for another 20 minutes. They decided to walk to the next stop, hoping they could catch it there. After a brisk walk and a bit of jogging, they managed to make it just in time. Sweaty and out of breath, they arrived at their meeting, thankful for a second chance.
