@jayme told me to post this 😛 when you start a company there’s this pressure to be the middle midwit which is a distraction from your calling When I was working on a consumer product, I increased our dau 100% WoW for 8 weeks in a row, which led to us getting into YC. But it didn’t feel right because it wasn’t my calling.

intuition would work if you already have a pretty strong experience of the industry in which you are building - its kinda like a already built latent space for you to tap into. for founders who venture into a new industry, may be intuition needs to be fine tuned with feedback.
