generally i use browser extension or rainbow in-app browser so wallet connect isn’t too painful these days

agree it would be sick if i could rotate keys easily

coinbase smart wallet is nice but being locked into a specific web popup flow doesn’t feel great. also v expensive on mainnet

Felt the same until I used coinbase smart wallet and realized they’re pretty widely supported now and even work cross chain pretty flawlessly 

Also walletconnect sucks and not being able to rotate keys also sucks

simpler, cheaper, same or better security (this can probably be argued), requires less/no trust in 3rd parties (bundlers and whatnot)

i don't have a desire to pay gas fees in erc20 tokens. i don't want to be worried about not having the same address in different chains (i know this is mostly solved by now, but still)

yes. and i also prefer full custody wallets over embedded wallets.

Passkey will onboard way more users than seed phrase.
