Its crazy that there is no Punjabi on Duolingo. I'm also shocked that there is no Persian. These are languages spoken by tens of millions of people! Meanwhile Klingon from Star Trek is offered for some inexplicable reason. No one is nerdy enough to learn Klingon.

Hi Murtaza, My name is Jerry. I’m a Systems Engineer for a Fortune 100 global company. I’m also shocked that Duolingo doesn’t have many languages on its platform yet. DUOL will eventually monetize Punjabi and Persian…imagine the growth possibilities. Anyway, I’m a huge Star Trek fan and currently on a 127 day streak with Klingon with hopes to start a sci-fi channel here on Farcaster. Leave it to a dev/coder to break the mold and be just that nerdy! Duolingo is overvalued in the market rn in my opinion. If they want to grow at the rate they have been, they need to expand their reach so I’m with you there. Hope to see more languages on Duolingo in the years to come! That’s true! I truly wanted to proceed learning Persian there, but didn’t find it. I downloaded it to start learning Spanish and I’m moving towards to A2. Meanwhile, they have Hawaiian or Navajo (don’t remember exactly), which look like more interesting for “western” user than Persian, as per devs. Well, I don’t mind, but cmon, many gems of world literature are written in it.

I had no idea Duolingo had fictional languages. I mean I certainly appreciate the effort that authors went into devising a new language. But is there such a depth to have an actual conversation?
