I’ve completely switched to cursor.sh, it’s what I imagined Copilot Chat should be. Now up to three AI subscriptions: - ChatGPT Plus - GitHub Copilot - Cursor Pro We’ll see who can innovate here faster. MS seems to be slipping behind.

Cursor is now my primary; kinda hurts the brain to go back to legacy VS Code, or IntelliJ… also more willing to mix langs in a project [JS, Python, Rust…]

Neat. Any idea what models it's using?

I have to say the editor becomes very hindered on Local Mode without the ability for AI to fine-tune. You can ask it questions though and at least it'll give suggestions.

MS slipping behind on coding assistance, and reports this week that Bing has not moved a digit against Google Search.

Is pro worth it? Cursor sans pro for me has been lackluster

Interesting, downloaded cursor and trying it out today What made you decide to subscribe to cursor pro in addition to ChatGPT plus? It seems like you can enter your own api key from openai, so why the extra subscription?

I’m loving cursor too. Have you tried Replit’s Ghostwriter yet? It has a similar feel. And Claude Pro just dropped, you could add that to your subscription list too 🤖

Any need for chatgpt plus when you already have a ui for chats within Cursor? Also, why not just use typingmind with an api key?

I like copilot chat with nightly as the results are blazing fast(and I don’t have to spend a dime), but the entire codebase context has been really nice with cursor as well

Same. Made the switch recently and it was really good. Interestingly I also have three subscription and am trying to see if I can consolidate. Was also trying Cody and using it to replace Copilot
