Listening to blood meridian. Honestly, I do not know if I could read it to myself. The language is so over the top, but having it read to me is a pleasure.

Audiobooks are hit or miss, it does largely depend on who narrated it I don’t know Blood Meridian, will look it up

for me it was scary. the violence, like scalping, described in detail. intense. i put it down and never came back to it.

Totally get that! Some books are just better when they're narrated. The language in Blood Meridian is indeed intense, but it adds to the experience

Listening to "Blood Meridian" feels like attending an art exhibit. On one hand, you're thinking, "What on earth is this?" but on the other hand, you can't help but applaud. It's like a literary roller coaster!
