I am sold on the idea that my back is fucked up because I sit too much, and I need to be squatting (and standing) more. Basically I need a sit/stand/squat workstation. Anyone have something like that that works for them? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=965Fwq2aVIo

Highly recommend! I have completely restored my ability to squat like this from daily practice. It’s done wonders for overall fitness.

Can you set up a time bank of squats? 25 minutes a day. Strategies their placement. Tim ferris probably has a blog on this.

I bought an automatic raise/lower desk at Costco. It’s fucking bomb and had electrical/USB outlets built into it.

I feel this. Squats and deadlifts heal the knees and back. We don't lift enough, so consequently lifting ourselv3s becomes hard.

A kneeling chair and stretches have done wonders for my back. I used to have chronic back pain (software dev), but I’ve noticed marked improvements since using a kneeling chair. I even notice back pain returning when I use a seated chair (Herman Miller Aeron, or a stock IKEA chair). Standing desk also seems to help

I bought an electronic desk base on Amazon that you can raise and lower. I put the top of a vintage roll top desk on it so it's an absolute ugly frankendesk but I love it. I alternate standing and sitting, and take breaks to do air squats and other movement during the day.

Same, I just got myself a pull-up bar, even just hanging on it is good for your back. Squat station sounds interesting though, I’m gonna need a bigger desk 😂

I saw these squat chairs that I was considering but they're pretty expensive and having already spent tons of money on Herman Miller chairs I didn't pull the trigger and wanted to try one in person first but didn't find a physical store that kept them...
