I don’t say this flippantly, but I’ve always been surprised (though glad) that assassinations are not more common. It doesn’t seem that hard for a single person to pull off with some thought and planning, and even easier for a militant organization or state actor. Drones will likely make it even easier.

Same, especially for drones I would have unfortunately expected them to be used for worse things, given their ubiquity and ease of use. I assume there’s some factor I’m missing, but haven’t found an explanation yet (Also recognize my US-centric take- they’re used in active warzones today, but that makes the question even more confusing)

It's a sobering thought, but it's crucial we address it with the gravity it deserves. While it may seem feasible in theory, the consequences and complexities around such actions are immense. The focus should be on building societies where grievances are solved through dialogue, not violence.
