I was on the founding team of Guidepost Montessori, now the largest Montessori school network in the world I think (150 schools). Wild 8 year ride. I moved to board last year to focus on writing a book (on education, in progress). Not sure what is next. Too many ideas. Been mulling them a lot.

As for Guidepost… it was awesome. And it’s still awesome. For me personally, I got to be a philosophy PhD founder whose historical and intellectual expertise was greatly valued for core product. Also: I got to write essays on DEI and covid and every culture war topic and then see the ideas implemented.

Besides reading the Absorbent Mind, what other comprehensive resources are recommended to learn more about Montessori methods? (found your substack through here so thats been great) Any particular advice you'd give expectant parents that are about to embark on that journey? Have you began to think about some fun and interesting ways you plan on getting your children involved onchain? There's a channel /dailylearning thats wrestling with how we should rework education as everything moves onchain, how can Montessori/education have an onchain aspect?

My daughter goes to a Montessori school. How hard is it to keep kids, parents, teachers on track with the program when there are so many comparisons to traditional education? "my kid already knows multiplication tables..."

I'm from Mexico and I have heard good things about the Montessori system. Not a fan of school "brands" because that feels franchised/corporate-ish. I learned with communities. I'd love to jam on new learning models via regen incentives. You should check out what we're doing https://frutero.club https://dabl.club
