This might be one of the most profound books I’ve read since Regenerative Leadership. I’m studying the autonomic nervous system- a key for conscious leadership. The book is Anchored by Deb Dana & all about polyvagal theory & understanding our nervous system & how it functions in real time.

Happy blob day! .oO Joining in 2019, all my initial research (execution sharding, enshrined AA, 3074, state expiry) were paths not taken. A necessary part of research, but it's a great feeling to have EIP-4844 reach mainnet today. A long time coming - I took this photo in Feb 2022 when we started work on the spec:

Blobs are part of the chain just like calldata is. Today (or rather, this week), default nodes store blobs temporarily, but with EIP 4444 calldata is going to get the same treatment. The endgame has for a long time been: all nodes do real-time validation; p2p networks store history.

One nice thing about EIP-4844 is how future-proof it is: 1. The only consensus change required to get us from where we are today to full 16 MB danksharding is a parameter change. 2. The point eval precompile returns the modulus, allowing rollups to be built to be forward-compatible with future changes to the modulus

Ethereum is awesome. The network generates a steady yield for stakers (via new issuance) and bonus yield via tips/MEV. And ETH is deflationary due to the fee burn exceeding new issuance. And users get to enjoy cheap fees and fast transactions on layer 2's. This is the gwei.
