Running my first half in 13 days. Long run yesterday 8 miles. My longest ever (end of Jan) was 10 miles (got injured and had to recover). Should I try to go for a longer run before the race or just strength training, stretch and light runs?

based on my experience you won't be able to increase performance gains under 4-6 weeks to race day focus on getting good sleep, get some carbloading in and race day adrenaline will carry you the rest of the way!

if your race is in 13 days, you should taper and focus on showing up rested at the start line

I agree with Gidwell. In a past life, I was one of the top rated sports massage and rehab specialists in the NW. I would focus on making sure that you are ready for your body to meet the demands of the half as you push yourself mentally and physically over the finish line. 10 is still a good milestone that you know you can go the distance 🫡
