My parents never encouraged me to read anything specific but we’d take trips to the library and I loved reading. Things are so different now. My kid is too young to read but she’s already fluent in iPad despite screen time restrictions. I hope to change that when she’s literate.

I don’t know that it is different. I’d previously leaned towards thinking PoS was more democrat than PoW because of the resources required to mine at scale. But I’m questioning my own thinking now. If a few major companies control a majority of validators, is that bad?

I’ve been pro-PoS and ‘hooray Merge!’ so far and believed the argument that PoS is more accessible/equitable than PoW. But now I'm wondering if that’s wrong, since post-Merge ~5 companies will control 2/3 of validators. Is PoS a centralizing force?

I’ve tried it and several similar variants. If you’re into drinking smoothies made from the slimy bottom layer of the forest floor, you’ll love it. Otherwise I’d eat a balanced diet and pop a multivitamin.

I love the premise of decentralization and self-custody but keep the majority of my assets in Coinbase because I don’t trust myself to not make a stupid mistake that opens the door to liquidation. Would be nice if the ecosystem felt a bit safer to explore.
