After being a startup founder I have even more empathy and admiration for founders (already had a ton before) between balancing making existing users happy, growing users + revenue, STATED VS REVEALED PREFERENCES, working on a strong cofounder/team dynamic, taking care of yourself, etc

Also what you say and what you do are completely different things. It’s a rare thing that people can follow through with what they say. Many times people say what they want or intend to do. Not what they will do.

I think startups really does reveal the best and worst in people. The difference is in the self awareness - many don’t know these sides of themselves until pushed to the limits. Partly why maybe I can’t stand people who aren’t self aware or have these annoying insecurities.

Gm Linda It's incredible how much goes into being a startup founder juggling user satisfaction, growth, team dynamics, and personal well-being is no small feat. It's only after being in those shoes that you truly appreciate the complexity and dedication required.
