Doing a brainstorming session next week with the Ethereum documentary team on interesting distribution mechanisms for the film. The plan is still film festival -> standard distribution (e.g. streaming) but exploring how we can also be creative with it. Lmk if you have any ideas and will bring up some in the session!

have you considered pre-festival screenings? i ep'd a feature that did this successfully; a dozen screenings with seats packed across the country, then became a netflix hit (sequel on way). great if you have grassroots support and can roll up sleeves to organize

I hope you talk to YearnFi folks. Their marketing is pure art. Something super fancy would be a Farcaster frame that allows you to be a character within some Ethereum themed cypherpunk movie trailer containing CT lore. Then everyone can be part of it by placing themselves inside the story. Check runway tooling as well.

Streaming service purchase receipts come with an option to turn in your receipt for a small amount of Ether deposited into a new wallet address of the buyer's choice. Essentially, buying the movie gets you the movie, but also some Ether to get started onchain.
