Holidays always get me. Been completely out of touch will all public/national holidays for years now.. I usually realise when I’m cycling to the office and the roads are clear haha

Work the same on weekends. Holidays still working but less structured. Pretty sure I’ve been working every weekend for the past 13-14 weekends. Lost track at this point 😭💀

I struggled with this a lot as a founder, although I always have / still do with regular jobs too (albeit to a lesser degree) It’s okay to love your job and work weekends / holidays, just make sure when you’re off, you’re off — being present in moments when you’re not working is the key to getting a break

I often forget about holidays but pretty much always take the weekend off. I have a family so we do fun stuff on the weekends. It's nice to come back fresh Monday.

I learned the hard way in my 20s that I’m a lot more effective working most days of the week instead of all days of the week followed by no days of the week curled up in a crunch-stress-depression ball So I keep 1.5 days of my weekend sacred

Of course no weekends! It’s luxury for small startups. Need to have runaway for a couple years or token supply to afford to have weekend

I try to see every day as the same, I want to avoid looking forward to certain days (weekend) or dreading others (monday) because I want my “baseline” day to be as good as possible like having a healthy baseline diet rather than dieting temporarily to gain/lose weight
