US has big data centers 2. big tech needs to maintain & build big data centers 3. they import all the computers, chips, materials, batteries, ... 4. it's too expensive, and no US alternative 5. big tech moves big data centers to Mexico & Canada 6. okay so two possible things: - end of global trade -> no one wins, americans get to feel genuine economic pain - everyone drops every trade barriers -> mega free trade world agreement, destroys the last pieces of american manufacturing either you win, or I lose
