“When does life get fun?”

How would you respond to someone that ask this?

living in my era of unknowns, "world builder"

Post replies: “when it does.”

Another from me:

When you can dance in the middle of the street to no music.

Another. 

When you cant keep yourself from dancing when listening to music.

When you can make time out no time.

When serendipity feels like destiny.

when you decide to make things happen instead of let them

Once you are able to make it fun

I think a lot of folks I know started out sticking to other people's expectations which aren't fun at all but once you break out of that you can choose your own fun

"life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans"

shift in narrative.

Fun is spending time with the people you care about the most, working on things that are a value add to society, and prioritising hobbies that have some competitive nature to them! 

I feel kids also play a role here!
