Increasingly convinced that its worth it to learn rust 1.) to my knowledge (please correct if wrong) - its very easy to wrap python and/or typescript around rust code. This is great for developer libraries that want to support as many developers as possible. This isn’t including the speed benefits 2.) if you learn rust you can also write solana contracts

I think Rust is cool, but how it merges with blockchain can be very touchy. Solana is so much more than rust and it makes it infinitely more complicated and harder to build on. On the other hand, I got to play around with Succinct SP-1 which is a zkVM which allows you to make zk proofs for any code that you write in rust. That’s a great abstraction and actually works well and is used a bunch in EVM rollups. Definitely think rust is worth dabbling in

Wrapping python around rust is easy and nice. Don’t know about typescript though. As in I haven’t tried it or seen it.

The second point isn’t super important imo There’s significantly more to learn about how Solana works and wiring your brain to match their workflow than there is to learn about Rust basics when it comes to building anchor contracts
