I know I am so paranoid about this. 
I am only taking it door to door from home to work (where there’s a garage) until I can get a second lock and a bag to carry both

My first lock is the big lock that can hit both wheels and the second will be a smaller one that’s angle grinder proof.

I really like it. It’s a Cannondale Neo frame size M as small as it can go (guy who helped me said they run a little big so maybe not the best choice for someone shorter? I’m 5’7)

I didn’t research this like I normally do for purchases, either! I saw a huge ebike sale at REI and was like… it’s time and I want a bike TODAY

I loosely diligenced models and repair ability and then let the REI sales guy and some test drives help me decide what to take home

The sale is great if you have an REI by you. On til 7/4 got a $2200 ebike for $1700 (and I should get a ebike rebate from Austin Energy!)

How do you like your new ebike so far? My wife has been looking for her first ebike (but is having a tough time since she's 5'2"). This looks like a great option, and you always have excellent recommendations 🙂

I got a great deal for it, IMO!

Includes a ton of bike stuff including a lot of locks too 

I got a $2k bike for ~$1700 
Splurged on extras like better tires for both trail and road use, REALLY nice lights, fenders, and a built in back rack with pretty big capacity 

You can get even better deals on their house brand Co-Op Cycles — was looking at a $900 model

I would buy this without question. I know people who have had multiple bikes stolen. My paranoia is OFF THE CHARTS

Not that I wash harm on folks… yet surprised we don’t have a bio-identifier that can be built into high value bikes, so when it’s moved without the users consent the whole thing can explode straight out of inspector gadget.

Sick bike! Def spend an afternoon w/ a mm ruler, torque wrench and some pro bike fit videos. Proper seat angle/height makes a huge difference for comfort! Make sure to get a MIPS helmet too. 20mph+ you'll generally want more head coverage (like chin) 2482 $degen

This is exciting. Last time I commuted to work was before the preponderance of e-bikes. Took me 50 minutes one way. I am looking forward to reading updates from you on how this goes.

I laugh at people who live in cities.... The point is to make enough money to leave, not learn to deal with the hell hole your corporation forces on the rest of society.
